Why or how the appearance of 120-Hz HDTV Sony's false.?

I have 3 HDTVs all 60Hz (32 "720, 40"-1080p 101 "DLP 1080i). Everyone is surprised at the 40" and 101 look ", and after seeing my friends at Sony, what they think looking like shit ... My friend just bought a Sony 120Hz $ 1400 which is 46 (or 52?), And its false air TV to watch recorded TV on your digital TV DVR (shown as the circle and the movie Step Brothers). People in the highest quality TV when I saw these people in real life, and the sky outside Florida will not even look as good as on your television. all 120Hz TVs this? "Sony, Sony or a DTV box (I know that sounds stupid). NOOO TV in one of the shops in the air is good, not even sony me was speaking. I just bought the generic APEX 40 "1080p HDTV $ 449 destination 60hz Black Friday sales and might want to pay another $ 300 for 120 Hz if I can get this look, suggestions on a brand or model of TV?

What I think is a side effect that 120Hz LCD TV experience. It is more often called the effect "telenovela" because it was too own "video look" that soap operas have. I call this camcorder effect of fear, and do not like. He made great films made in watching the movie as if they were taken with a cheap camera flip or something. I realized that young people like this, and indeed is love. But I can not blame someone for being honest, because if you're not used to 24 frames per second film, I do not know better. I have heard some people call this 120hz as giving a 3D effect. Is the result of the creation of more high-level or images that have never existed and there is the movement of a strange look. Some TVs really show result of this side effect, others less so. I see the effect of 240Hz LCD, but it seems smoother. So, the bottom line, 120Hz creates something that never had the intention and something that does not exist in the original material, so I'm totally against it. I have two flat screen, a plasma which does not have 120Hz Plasma TV luxury because period of time, and I have a LCD in my room than regular 60hz, I do not the video aspect of 120Hz. So if you like, that's what I want to buy the next time, but if you can see the first store all the television model that has 120 Hz is a bit different.
